Privacy policy
What we collect
We collect your account email address and display name, obtained via Google sign-in or administrator invite. We also collect telemetry from drones operated under your account (position, altitude, speed, battery state), images uploaded through the platform, and standard server-side metadata such as IP addresses and session timestamps.
Why we collect it
The data is used solely to operate the TCI mapping and livestream platform — enabling flight tracking, live video, post-flight image review, and drawing tools. Session and IP metadata is retained for security audit logs.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your data with third parties outside Tiepoint AS and the infrastructure vendors required to run the platform: Google Cloud Platform (compute and storage), EMQX Cloud (MQTT broker), and our SRS livestream host. These vendors process data only as instructed by us.
Retention
Your data is retained for the duration of your organisation's active subscription. Upon subscription termination or on written request, data is deleted within 30 days. To request deletion, contact data@tiepoint.no.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Norway is a member of the European Economic Area (EEA); GDPR applies. Our legal basis for processing is performance of a contract (operating the platform you have subscribed to) and legitimate interest (security logging). We do not rely on consent for core platform data.
